Ok, I take back what I said a few days ago about not seeing anything different in the new prediction forms. After a couple of days of playing around with the new ones and literally having to learn how to do them all over again from scratch, there are a couple of things that have improved for the better. I guess I've just got to get used to a new way of doing things, I suppose. 
Anyway, the best thing, I've managed to find a way around is ....................... AUTOMATIC REPLIES TO YOU WHEN YOU SUBMIT YOUR PREDICTIONS!!
This is massive for all of us. Me, because I won't have to worry about checking my Email inbox all the time and you, because you will know almost instantly whether or not your predictions have been sent. No more "I sent them so don't know why you ain't got 'em" or "I definitely clicked the Submit button"!!!!!
The one thing you will all have to do, though to receive this automatic reply is to fill in YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS 100% CORRECTLY. Quite simply, if it is not 100% correct, you won't receive the email back to you. Now there is a way that guarantees filling in your email correctly and that is another thing that is new on these new forms. If I understand it correctly, if you join my website as a 'Member', your name and email address will automatically be filled in on the predictions forms every time you start to type in your details (I think they call it 'Auto-fill). So this is what I'm going to do. On the prediction forms for 24/4/26, I'm going to add a button that will ask you if you want to be a 'Member'. This will be automatically be ticked to 'Yes', so you don't need to do anything unless you don't want to join. Being a member just makes it easier for you. You won't get any additional posts or emails or Spam from me. Nothing at all.
Another thing you may have noticed over the last month or so is that I have added 'page visit' buttons to the bottom of every webpage. Every time one of you views a page, the counter increases by one. The reason I did this was because I find updating the 'Your confirmation' a bit of a pain and didn't think that too many of you were using it anyway.
The the results of the page views was this:
Homepage - 6,696 views
League table - 1,869
CDM - 1,609
Knockout - 628
Your predictions - 2,629
Everyones points - 2,048
and
Your confirmation - 629
So, unless anyone is really dead against it, I am going to fade out the 'Your confirmation' webpage as I feel there is even less need for it now, now that you will pretty much get an instant reply email confirmation once you submit your predictions. I will continue to send out the reminders to those of you that have requested them, even though I find them a pain too!!
